Flugplatz mit guten aerologischen Bedingungen, einfachem Start und Landung. Der
Start ist ca. 10/15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Parkplatz entfernt.
Die Landung ist vom Start aus sichtbar. Flug in Kürze Die Flugfläche ist sehr groß und hat keine Lufthindernisse. Beim Start stehen zwei hohe Bäume, während die Landung keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten bereitet. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich ein Venturi. Start, daher ist es immer besser, vor dem Start und nie hinter dem Start zu sein, da der Wind, insbesondere in den zentralen Stunden des Tages, dazu neigt, entscheidend zu blasen.
Es ist ein thermischer Flug, aber vor allem Dynamik, dank des Windes, der schon ab dem frühen Nachmittag aus dem Meer weht. All dies ermöglicht es mit einer gewissen Faszination, sich entlang der Kämme zu bewegen, die den Start flankieren, und manchmal sogar Flüge im Tal zu machen, indem die Thermik ausgenutzt wird, die sich von den Städten und dem darunter liegenden Land löst.
Wenn Sie nach oben gehen, können Sie interessante Kreuze in Richtung Cori oder in Richtung Sezze unternehmen.

Beim Start stehen einige hohe Bäume und Büsche.
Bei der Landung traten keine Schwierigkeiten auf.
Das "Top" ist sehr einfach

Der Drachenstartplatz in dem Video schaut nicht sehr überzeugend aus, schmales Stück Steine/Gebüsch - gerade startbar.

Das Feld ist von der Größe gerade so ok. Allerdings von weiteren Felern umgeben, die man scheinbar auch landen darf. Dann ist sehr viel Platz.

On the other hand, the official landing area of the Aero Club UNION situated in the low land. This landing area is the only official one indicated by Norma Corridor for paragliding and hang gliding.

This landing area is available exclusively for EAC UNION. As a result the use of this landing area is granted to members of the EAC Union pilots and guests if in possess of the Fly-Card that can be booked on www.union.it site.

A pilot who wants to use the lowland landing AEC UNION can do it the first time even though he/she does not have a Fly Card, but then he/she has to request the Fly Card.

The Fly-Card in addition to the use of the landing area allows pilots to use the shuttles to go up to the takeoff area and allows them the use of services such as folding of emergency parachutes and to have discounts in agreement with various touristic and commercial activities.
The cost of the Fly Card is 15€ for the ongoing year and this fee is needed to bear the costs related to the ongoing costs to keep the landing area in perfect conditions.

GS: Entlang der ss.7 Via Appia oder der ss. 148 über Pontina erreichen Sie die Stadt Cisterna di Latina und folgen dann den Schildern nach 'Oasi di Ninfa'; Biegen Sie nach ca. 5 km links in die Via Celestino II ab und auf dieser finden Sie die Landung. Wenn Sie oben angekommen sind, parken Sie in Norma vor dem Eingang zu den Ruinen des alten Norba. Von hier aus begeben Sie sich auf einen einfachen Weg, der Sie in etwa fünfzehn Minuten zum Startplatz führt.

The takeoff areas of Norma are situated in a Golf area. Free-flying in this area can be practiced without contraindications except for some special conditions. There are currently no restrictions for the use of takeoff areas for hang-gliders and para-gliders and every pilot can use this area freely. In the same manner and for the same reasons, also the top-landing area is free from any restrictions and can be used freely
On the other hand, straying away from the mountains, one encounters the borders of CTR and ATZ of Latina. The borders of this area are impassible limits.
